新约--约翰福音(john)--第 14 章14:1你们心里不要忧愁。你们信神，也当信我。let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in god, believe also in me.14:2在我父的家里，有许多住处。若是没有，我就早已告诉你们了。我去原是为你们预备地方去。in my father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, i would have told you. i go to prepare a place for you.14:3我若去为你们预备了地方，就必再来接你们到我那里去，我在那里，叫你们也在那里。and if i go and prepare a place for you, i will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where i am, there ye may be also.14:4我往那里去，你们知道。那条路，你们也知道。（有古卷作我往那里去你们知道那条路）and whither i go ye know, and the way ye know.14:5多马对他说，主阿，我们不知道你往那里去，怎吗知道那条路呢。thomas saith unto him, lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?14:6耶稣说，我就是道路，真理，生命。若不藉着我。没有人能到父那里去。jesus saith unto him, i am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.14:7你们若认识我，也就认识我的父。从今以后，你们认识他，并且已经看见他。if ye had known me, ye should have known my father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.14:8腓力对他说，求主将父显给我们看，我们就知足了。philip saith unto him, lord, shew us the father, and it sufficeth us.14:9耶稣对他说，腓力，我与你们同在这样长久，你还不认识我吗。人看见了我，就是看见了父。你怎吗说，将父显给我们看呢。jesus saith unto him, have i been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the father; and how sayest thou then, shew us the father?14:10我在父里面，父在我里面，你不信吗。我对你们所说的话，不是凭着自己说的，乃是住在我里面的父作他自己的事。believest thou not that i am in the father, and the father in me? the words that i speak unto you i speak not of myself: but the father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.14:11你们当信我，我在父里面，父在我里面。既或不信，也当因我所作的事信我。believe me that i am in the father, and the father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.14:12我实实在在的告诉你们，我所作的事，信我的人也要作。并且要作比这更大的事。因为我往父那里去。verily, verily, i say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that i do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because i go unto my father.14:13你们奉我的名，无论求什么，我必成就，叫父因子得荣耀。and whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will i do, that the father may be glorified in the son.14:14你们若奉我的名求什么，我必成就。if ye shall ask any thing in my name, i will do it.14:15你们若爱我，就必遵守我的命令。if ye love me, keep my commandments.14:16我要求父，父就另外赐给你们一位保惠师，（或作训慰师下同）叫他永远与你们同在。and i will pray the father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;14:17就是真理的圣灵，乃世人不能接受的。因为不见他，也不认识他。你们却认识他。因他常与你们同在，也要在你们里面。even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.14:18我不撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。i will not leave you comfortless: i will come to you.14:19还有不多的时候，世人不再看见我。你们却看见我。因为我活着，你们也活着。yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because i live, ye shall live also.14:20到那日，你们就知道我在父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。at that day ye shall know that i am in my father, and ye in me, and i in you.14:21有了我的命令又遵守的，这人就是爱我的。爱我的必蒙我他，我也要爱他，并且要向他显现。he that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father, and i will love him, and will manifest myself to him.14:22犹大（不是加略人犹大）问耶稣说，主阿，为什么要向我们显现，不向世人显现呢。judas saith unto him, not iscariot, lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?14:23耶稣回答说，人若爱我，就必遵守我的道。我父也必爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，与他同住。jesus answered and said unto him, if a man love me, he will keep my words: and my father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.14:24不爱我的人就不遵守我的道。你们所听见的道不是我的，乃是差我来之父的道。he that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the father's which sent me.14:25我还与你们同住的时候，已将这些话对你们说了。these things have i spoken unto you, being yet present with you.14:26但保惠师，就是父因我的名所要差来的圣灵，他要将一切的事，指教你们，并且要叫你们想起我对你们所说的一切话。but the comforter, which is the holy ghost, whom the father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever i have said unto you.14:27我留下平安给你们，我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的。你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯。peace i leave with you, my peace i give unto you: not as the world giveth, give i unto you. let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.14:28你们听见我对你们说了，我去还要到你们这里来。你们若爱我，因我到父那里去，就必喜乐，因为父是比我大的。ye have heard how i said unto you, i go away, and come again unto you. if ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because i said, i go unto the father: for my father is greater than i.14:29现在事情还没有成就，我豫先告诉你们，叫你们到事情成就的时候，就可以信。and now i have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.14:30以后我不再和你们多说话，因为这世界的王将到。他在我里面是毫无所有。hereafter i will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.14:31但要叫世人知道我爱父，并且父怎样吩咐我，我就怎样行。起来我们走吧。but that the world may know that i love the father; and as the father gave me commandment, even so i do. arise, let us go hence.
